When a celebrity makes a drastic hairstyle change, people talk. Ok, let’s face it. Pretty much any celebrity hairstyle change, no matter how minor, gets lots of publicity.

So needless to say, when Britney Spears shaved her head bald in 2007, many people were shocked and confused by the drastic change. But Spears wasn’t the first celebrity to go bald.

In 1997, Demi Moore shaved her head for the movie G.I. Jane. Then, in 2006, Natalie Portman followed suit and shaved her head in a single take during filming for V for Vendetta.

However, shaving a head isn’t the only way celebrities make a noticeable change. For instance, Harry Potter star Emma Watson Watson chopped off her brunette locks in 2010, trading them for a perky pixie cut instead.

And just this month, Miley Cyrus turned heads when she Tweeted pictures of her new look- a super-short, platinum-blonde, haircut.

So what are the most-copied celebrity haircuts? According to a recent Yahoo article, the pixie cut came in first place because of its low-maintenance and versatility. Not only has the pixie cut been worn by Watson, but other stars such as Halle Berry and Michelle Williams.

Long layers, like Kim Kardashian’s, were also a favorite. Similarly, chin-length bobs, worn by Jennifer Aniston and Cameron Diaz, were also in demand and came in third place. Blunt-cut bangs rounded out the list, coming in fourth place as the most requested celebrity-inspired cut.
