2015 Valentine's Day Contest
"In this picture I applied gold eyeshadow with used a deep green color for the smokey eye effect, soft pink lips, lashes, and freshly threaded brows! Me and my boyfriend attended a wedding and of course wanted to match:)"
"Been needing a change, so for Valentine's day I got a drastic one. You can even see my favorite Valentine in one of my after pictures. He was born on the 13th, so Valentine's is extra special to me now. It was my first full day with him in my life."
Here's how I looked before the night. Air dried hair and no makeup.
Here's after the makeup and hair. Top of hair is 1b, bottom for now is real ombré. Styled with a 1.5 inch barrel iron. Finished with Joico dry shampoo and Big Sexy firm hairspray. Covergirl foundation. Eyeshadow, blush, and contouring by Ulta brand. Eyebrows filled and shaped with Covergirl brow pencil. Haven't filled in brows before but do to decent hair loss, I tried it out! Eyeliner is a new cream product by Rimmel. I had never tried this before but thought Valentine's Day would be the perfect time! Love the creativity you get when using an eyeliner brush. Lip stain by e.l.f.
Finished look with better lighting. Just missing gorgeous locks to finish off the look!
"Me and my loveee:). We met in high school and have been together for three years and still going strong! We were both at a birthday party and me and my friends were jumping on a trampoline and there was so many of us that I literally fell off the trampoline into his arms. So embarrassing. Lol nothing like an embarrassing moment for an ice breaker. We are currently in college together and we are loving it. Next year we plan on sharing an apartment near campus and hopefully getting married right after graduating:) (Fingers crossed!) nice knowing I met my soul mate as such a young age."
"My name is Megan. This is my husband Travis and our daughter Kennedy. We met a few years ago through mutual friends. We instantly connected and fell in love. We lived 2 hours away but couldn't make it more than a few days without seeing each other. So I quit my job, left my friends and family, and moved to be with the love of my life.
We quickly found ourselves pregnant and couldn't be more excited. It was a roller coaster pregnancy. I almost lost our daughter multiple times, then she was born 5 weeks early. Other than a handful of problems, she was perfectly healthy. You never know how much you love your husband until you see how much they love your kid. It's unreal the love I have in my heart for these two. Travis stuck by me through thick and thin. Through all of Kennedy's problems, and also my health problems.
I have a thyroid auto immune disorder that causes my immune system to attack itself. One of the reasons I'm entering this contest is because I have serious problems with my hair falling out and would love to feel good about it again. Travis works very hard for us so that I'm able to stay at home with our daughter. He is amazing and I could never ever put into words the thankfulness I have for him. I am so blessed. Here's a photo from our Valentine's night. I have a 'whole lotta love' for both of them!"
"This is me and my girlfriend Rebecca. We met back in September through friends, and we have been together ever since. Having a relationship with a girl when you are a girl is tough. A lot of people talk, family, friends, strangers. But I learned not to care about what people think. As long as I'm happy that's all that matters. She accepts me for me, she doesn't care about the makeup, hair, etc. She thinks I'm beautiful no matter what.
We have only been together almost 5 months, and this will be our first Valentine's Day. Though, it will be different for our first year. We are having an early Valentine's Day because I have to be with my grandfather the weekend who is battling cancer, and I am the only family member able to look after him while we are both out of town. Rebecca has been by my side the last 5 weeks during this long process. I don't know what I would have done if I didn't have her."
